Well at the risk of some serious flak from Mr Shamrock 
I am building the Voron 2.1 soon to be 2.2 before I even get mine finished. It took 2 months to get all the individual parts from the Land of the Sun but they are all here and I do a little bit of construction every week. My main reason to build it is the enclosed chamber for printing ABS and ABS+ and PETG etc. Having said that some enthusiasts are printing the parts to build the printer with CR10's or similar, using a hot bed and putting a crude enclosure around it. If you ever need to print ABS parts that are not too tall then a cardboard box or a small photo booth "tent" works well. BTW ABS+ is a lot easier to print than standard ABS and stinks less as well.
I'm not going to mention that the first big project on the new printer will be another 3D printed R/C model - Aw heck, I have said it
