Not much to be said about me .. I arrived at this forum in search of a service manual
I own a Canon Pixma MP250 and after a year or two of using it as furniture I found that it doesn't print anymore. Discovering in horror that someone forgot to place a tape film on the cartridges head i started a process of unclogging the cartridges using warm-hot water and Isopropyl alcohol (don't know how much this helped). After a night and a day of soaking them (changed the liquid from time to time) i got them printing but i got white lines and after a while black printed no more and the colors were pringin faded.
I guess they need a refill.
Playing with the printer Ii discovered that the resting spot of the cartridges (in the printer) is clogged with semi-dried ink and decided to disassemble the printer (just to get at that spot) to clean it up a little. Sice i don't want to destroy it by puling too hard on something that seems to come out but it shouldn't i'm looking for that service manual (or dissasembly guide).
I hope i'll find what i'm looking for and seeing what a treasure of resources for printing issues this forum is i decided to get myself a spot with you lot.
So this is my story .. nice to meet you all
