I found this site in search of som problems with a epson pro 3880 i wanted to buy second hand. I found the solution (problems when changing between PK and MK) and now i am the owner of a working 3880 (with MK). Paid just 70 Euro. !!
I am now the owner of the following Epsons
Pro 7600 (not working for 4 years but will hopefully print again soon)
Pro 3880 working withe matte inks
Pro 3800 - this one i got for free helping a friend with another 3800 with the PK MK syndrome.
R2400 - working order
R1500w. Working order

I have printed with Paul Roark B&W inkset through trought QTR quad tone rip more or less for 10 years. I am parttime retired so now i will go all in on printing. B&W color. Third party inksets.

Surecolor p900 which I had for 100$, It makes colored streaks but prints B&W beautifully. It has been serviced by Epson but they could not resolve the problem. Hast recieved empty carts and chipresetter from China = uncle Ali.
