I just bought a CIS setup for my Canon Pro9000. I can't for the life of me setup the tube mounting. The tubing always gets in the way of the print head's travel. Can someone either post a photo or send me in the right direction?

thanks in advance

Why not refill the cartridges and reset the cartridge with a chip resetter ?

I had this same issue. I used a CIS for about a year and finally ended up moving to refilling my cartridges. Anyway, the best way to do this is to get some plastic and TAPE it to the top of the print cover (in a half-pipe form) - run the tubes through that contraption and give it enough slack so that the printhead can move all the way to each side of the printer - Leave the cover OPEN! - you'll have to fold up some paper and put it in the contraption to fool the printer to think the cover is closed. This isn't pretty, but it works. I used the CIS this way for about a year and my problems were never about the tubes getting stuck under the printhead - although, you'll have your share of issues - especially with inkflow...

I think the only solution is to drill a hole at the right site of the printer cover and to attach the CISS-tubing ribbon firmly on the ribbon carrying the printhead: this would solve the problems with the CISS tubing slamming against the casing and would allow the printhead to move freely from left to right. This will be a drastic measure.
