I recently purchased a Canon Pro 300 printer and set it up to print from USB on my Windows 10 machine. All works fine and I have been printing from On1 Photo RAW software. I downloaded Canon's Professional Print and Layout software and installed it as a stand-alone. it starts but asks for me to verify what printer I have, I run the auto find and it doesn't see the 300. When I try to do the find manually it asks for the printer's IP address and because I am using a USB cable, I don't have one. Any ideas. Do I need to reinstall it as a wireless printer?
