My collection of 5 year old Canon inkjets (three i550s and three ip3000s) are getting a little long in the tooth and I need to start thinking about replacements. Printing cost economy is a high priority and I'm prepared to give up the luxury of using cheap generic cartridges for the hassle of refilling. I'd love to still have only four cartridges per machine to cope with. Ease and reliability of refilling is also important. I've been happy with Canon, but for a compelling reason I'd switch brands. Color quality is only of secondary importance.
