All setup cart chips can be reset and the carts can be refilled and the printer won’t know the difference..

I would of course flush and dry the Yellow.

You can do that, just be very thorough with flushing or risk the dreaded Yello Jello. Suggestion on how to flush from @The Hat :

Did some snooping as I was curious to how long this printer sat around. The UPS label had the Adorama Invoice # so I emailed them and they sent me a copy lol. Order was from end of June 2014.

Should I be worried about it sitting that long?
