The most important thing is to BLOW OUT ALL THE OLD TONER. Brother cartridges cycle used toner back into the toner hopper so there will always be about 80g of unusable toner that will not process onto paper. If this old toner contaminates the new toner, it will cause problems. It cannot be stressed enough to make sure the toner hopper is completely clean of old toner.
The next most important thing is to PROTECT THE DEVELOPER ROLLER. That long piece of yellow plastic will prevent the dev roller from being exposed and scratched up, which will cause print defects. However, this is often dependent on an educated and responsible customer.
The last thing is to be sure to RESET THE GEAR.
If these issues are dealt with appropriately, the TN-360 (and TN-330) is one of the easiest cartridges to remanufacture.
