Here are the movies and information regarding this technology.

This device is patented so nobody could manufacture it without legal rights, bigest oil comanies own the patents. There is a solution since it is so simple device - build it yourself.

I really want these type of new ideas to work, but the inventor's history isn't too promising:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Pantone

"Paul Pantone is an inventor who claims to have invented Global Environmental Energy Technology (GEET), a technology that replaces the standard carburetor of an internal combustion engine."

"In 2002, Pantone was found guilty of securities fraud" "He is detained since December 2005 in a State Mental Hospital in Provo Utah."

One story I saw was very interesting:

I saw a cool story on CNN and did some digging. Watch the video than is linked to in the first article and pay attention to the stats on how much oil is produced per acre of Corn!

Listening to Pantone reminded me of Professor Irwin Corey (click on "How to commit marriage" and "Belzer Roast").

The limitations placed on us by the laws of physics and thermodynamics apparently aren't a barrier for some people.

On a related note I've been wanting to talk to someone who is an expert in solar / photovoltaic cells to find out even if we could harness 100% of the sun's rays (i.e. if solar cells were perfectly efficient) how much power could they really generate. There has to be some upper limit per sq. foot... I'm just curious what that is.

According to this link, there are 1370 watts/sq meter in space and 1000 watts/sq meter (93 watts/sq ft) on earth. The US Dept of Energy says that the best cells are now 40% efficient and cost $3/watt. So.... you can at best get 37 watts/sq ft on earth (no clouds, cells always point directly toward the sun, etc.

Well one thing for sure you must build it then you can judge if it works or not. I always taught that a scam is when someone tries to get your money for something fake. Now this GEET thing is patented in MIT in US and even in Russia there is simmilar device patented also. I doubt MIT would patent some parts used in this device if it was not real.

But I do know if you have a few million $ you can buy any wikipedia article thats for sure.

And I doubt that Pantone got all those fake like you say videos online - I mean that would cost a forune and why do it in the first place? I taught to scam peopple you must sell the plans on how to make the device not give it for free?

I just find it hard to imagine that if these things worked reliably that someone wouldn't stick 5 in their backyard barn to generate electricity like crazy and sell it back to the utilities, or put them into / convert their existing cars like we see all the time with bio-diesel cars.

Great thing about a free market economy is that as amazing things get invented they have a tendency to come to market pretty quick, right?

But, all that said, I'd love to see all these things work... my 110 mile commute to/from work is pretty pricey.

I didn't see that page, thanks for posting.

Again, I hope (for environmental and for cost reasons) that these (or any other similar ideas) work and will be quickly woven into the fabric of society.
