Hi everybody,

I'm a 35-year old guy from the French speaking part of Belgium. (Now you can understand why my writing is so poor and why I'll produce some English mistakes)

I like photography but having not much time to dedicate to this hobby, I try to perform decent family portraits and some landscape shots.

I landed on this forum because I'm looking for information concerning the Epson 1500W.
Since I really enjoyed the quality of the threads I decided to settle down for a while.

I already tried to print nice pictures with my former (shitty) printer: a HP 5550. What a deception. Always faded lines in the middle of the print. Always something wrong. It sucks ink like hell. I gave up.

My dad gave me my current HP 5150 which works well in BW office mode with ink refilled cartridges. By well I mean: I can read the output

But I really feel like printing my best shots in A3+ in order to decorate the house and make some gifts.
Since the HP5550 time I read a lot. I have a decent camera. I know the best practices. I shot in RAW. I can improve a bit my shots in Lightroom. My screens are profiled. Now I miss a decent printer.

I'm here for learning.

Welcome to the forum Laurent.

There are a number of people on the forum that are very knowledgeable about Epsons. If you can post some specific questions I am sure you will get answers. Best of luck and happy printing.

Yes, be welcome, and I am sure we will make our best efforts to find you and a not so shitty printer a place in the same house with your camera at the same time so you can make fine family portraits for the wall ( and your family and friends)
