I am concerned about the environment. Printing can be one of the dirtiest things we do in life. Ink isn't as environmently friendly as it should be and printers manufacturers are more concerned about their ROI than our childrens future. Its a pity that we are forced to change printer before they are worn. Much printers do have first class parts, developed for a live that lasts much longer than we use our printers. What a waste.
Its nice to see an active forum like this, dedicated to printing to keep my convenient printer running as long as possible. Thats the least I can do about it.
I am experimenting with motors out of the obsolete STAR printer generation. They are perfect generators for tiny windturbines. Windturbines make hours like the printers were intended to do in which they were used and in the printer they didn't make their hours.
