Firmware downgrade software

I did a firmware update and now the printer won't recognize my remanufactured ink cartridges. How can I downgrade the firmware?

The WicReset utility provides a firmware change for the WF-3820 against a charge; but I never tried it.

Sorry but, let this be a lesson to all..

When your printer is working normally, it’s not a don’t.. It’s a case of never upgrade the firmware for any reason, because that’s what happens when you listen to the stupid nonsense put out on the web…

Google is telling me SI13LC was the first firmware to stop 3rd party ink . Bought my wf3820 a year and half ago..ran out of black ink for the first time a month ago. SI13LC is what it came with as I never updated. (That I know of) but everyone is saying this works with 3rd party?
Confused..please help. I thought I needed to go back to SI09K9

'Remanufacutured' - what does it mean in this context - 3rd party ink in original
cartridges which got a reset from the remanufacturer ?
I would go and get a refill kit - ink + cartidges and a resetter, and I would return that kit
if this does not work. you may ask the suplier beforehand if all incl. the latest firmware versions are supported.
Yoiu may as well get 3rd party cartridges which are claimed to come with the most actual firmware
