Epson SC 800 & p900 which one to buy

I want to go thirdparty ink with www.farbenwerk.com and I have chips for the p900.

I upgrade from a p800 to a used p900 because I did not like the ink swap each time I changed from matte to glossy media. I bought empty refillable cartridges and put in the chips from OEM carts, a chip resetter and Ink came from Farbenwerk and no problems so far. Even if the printer stood still for several months may I do a nozzle check, in case of some lines missing I wait some minutes and redo the nozzle check. Mostly that solved the problem.
