Epson R380 Problems with Cartridges Being Recognized

I've had this printer a while and all of a sudden my CISS cartridges failed to be recognized so i put in brand new Epson cartridges to see if those would be recognized and those cartridges also are not being recognized.

I am at a loss. Its such a good printer and I tried to look for a new one online but they are going for 4x the price i paid for it new now for some weird reason.

Anyone have any insight as to what could be wrong with the printer? Printhead issues? waste tank? End of life?

It has been my experience, that when this error comes up, and replacement cartridges are still not recognized, the "Logic Board" has failed.
