My 3880 is from 2016 and has only printed 644 pages (mostly photos). Driver version is 9.33
I have some problems that I can not solve:
1) when I start the printer I regularly get the message: "Service Call Error - Please contact to the repair center". Such service is extremely expensive over here.
I overcome this problem by restarting the printer various times, while clicking the center knob (left of the LVD panel) and after some attempts the printer then functions normally again.
I did disconnect the "automatic switch-off", and in doing so manage to continue using the 3880 without start-up problems.
2) Printer Watcher on the LFP remote panel 2, I could never use!
3) When I open Printer Utility I get the message "Printer connected" but when I click in the same message on "Update" (down right in panel) it suddenly show "Error" and "Off-line"
I wonder whether re-installing the printer on my iMac could solve these very irritating problems?
Can anybody help me solving these problems?
