I recently received an Epson Stylus Pro 3880, but it doesn’t recognize any of the ink cartridges. Some of the cartridges are Cone, and two of them are missing their chips. However, even genuine Epson cartridges that are full and complete are not being recognized.

If anyone knows a solution or has experienced this issue before, I would really appreciate your advice.

Try cleaning all the contacts on both the ink carts and in their printer port. I use a fiberglass scratch brush and Deoxit Gold sold in some music stores for plugs and jacks. Sometimes on mine I need to put a thin piece of felt or fleece under the cart to lift it a bit to make contact with the printers contacts. Happens mostly with the non-Epson carts. Sometimes only one bum cart can throw the entire ink fill screen off, usually one of the magentas on mine not making contact.
