Hi,

Ever since upgrading to the latest version of Snow Leopard it has been almost impossible to print using my Epson 2200.

I am forever getting this error message: "The ink cartridge combination currently installed in the printer does not match the selected print settings. Open the Print dialog to update the settings."

I have tried everything... without success.

Once I actually got it to work. I can't remember what I did to get it to work though, since I had been clicking on every button and trying and retrying everything.

I have tried taking the cartridges out and putting them back in, etc.

WHAT is the secret to getting my Epson 2200 to work?

These are all OEM carts... not refilled. I think the earlier version of Snow Leopard that I started out on worked a whole lot better than this new 'improved' driver.

Thanks!

I fixed it. I emailed the Epson tech support and all I had to do was delete the printer from the OSX print center and then reload it.

So... that's good.

In case anyone has the same problem, just try turning off the printer... deleting the printer... then turn the printer back on and select it again.

I don't use a Mac or an Epson but I do like to see successful resolutions. :thumbsup
