Dye based and pigment based ink

Can you use dye based ink to refill a cartridge, which had pigment based ink in it? what happens if i start refilling all cartridges with dye based ink?

Yes is the simple answer, but use good quality inks..

The printer will print as normal, but youll have to clean out the cartridges if you want to use pigment ink in them again.
Question:- why dont you want to use pigment inks whats wrong with it.. :|

When buying third party inks compared to OEM inks they are so much cheaper, so a little extra is not much to pay for the better quality..
