Canon made dual feed printers like the MX892 for years and I love the feature. I can load envelopes in the back tray and letter paper in the front tray and print letters all day.
The other nice thing about this feature is the ability to handle stiff paper as it was a straight through feed.
My MX892 died with the famous B200 error and I bought the MX 922 to replace it. It doesn't have provisions for envelopes in one tray and letter paper in the other tray and there is only the one feed that will not handle the same weight paper as the straight feed.
Does any one make a printer that will do this? I haven't been able to find one.
