I have a change to buy a DTP70 to make my ICC profiles. I have read it's superb and far better than I1Pro2 that i have and use. I work with Argyll and i1Pro2. Is the workflow with ColorPort + DTP + Argyll difficult to work?
I have make a test, creating ti1 and loading into colorport, but i think it's not right, not the right color.

Could anyone explain me the workflow with Argyll. With I1Profiler it's easy, but i prefer Argyll for my printer ICC.

Thank You

The DTP70 is a patchsheet scanner which makes the overall handling much easier and convenient but I don't see the point that it is 'far better than i1Pro2' - in which respect - it's pretty old hardware and superceded by the i1iSys 2.

I'm using a i1iO robot arm for scanning, I'm not familiar with the DTP70, but that model is probably 15 years old, and I would not pay $1000 for it - but it's your decision.

Yes i know, but i prefer the DTP. Thank You. My main concern it's the workflow not the disopsitive.

Isn't there an ArgyllCMS user forum which could help you with using Colorport and DTP70 ?

The v1 and v2 i1iO robot arm is a scam in my opinion. It is built so cheap, flimsy wobbly and unadjustable that i had to make my own replacement from solid piece of textolite fiber board, and make adjustable inserts for leveling of the arm itself. Now dE is as low as i1isis
