I asked this earlier but it was buried in a thread on a different topic, so thought it best to ask it in a new thread. Am asking it because I'm making up a set of cleaner cartridges and I might add some Windex. The original Windex contains some ammonia, some say it's not enough to cause any damage to printers containing copper in their printer heads.

Still... I'd like to know for sure.

Thanks all!

I know that Canon print heads contain copper. Lots of it. I have never observed any corrosion on exposed copper parts using original Windex.

If you’re in any dough at all, then don’t use the Windex in pharmacist solution, it works just as well without it, and then you can be perfectly sure you’re doing no harm...
