Dark Photo Print From ip4200

I printed dvd covers and they are produced darker in the printout. I tried to raise gamma but the problem seems to be colour assimilation. I used OEM ink and now Hobbicolors ink and the result is the same. I tried verious settings in the printing preferences to no avail. Can someone help me?

In whatever printing software you are using, look for some option for INTENSITY. Lowering it should help.

Tell us what software you are using. Perhaps someone has already worked this out.

I am wrestling with an iP4200 right now, trying to get the colors to come out right. It benefits from lowering the intensity to a -20 or even -30 on ArcSoft's Photo Studio program.
