I'm finally fed up with the C88+'s 'cyan' being dark blue (even with OEM ink) so I'm going to switch to a six-color printer and convert it to pigment. I still have my doubts as to how well this will work, but we'll see.

I'm planning on using the near-empty set of carts for my R340 to create refillable cartridges for the R220 - will there be any issue with cross contamination of the dye/pigment? I have a set of unused MIS refillable cartridges just in case people think it won't work. I don't have any C88 cartridges, and even if I did, that doesn't help with the light cyan and light magenta, plus the ink supplier said that the black ink he sells for the C88 is different than the R220 so I had to exchange them. I was thinking of 'rinsing' the cartridge with a little pigment ink first, then getting as much out as possible before filling and using.

Also trying to find that post from earlier this year on good methods on how to refill OEM tanks.
