Clean 5y old canon pro 10 Cartridges PGI-72

Hi all,

I will now start to refill my PGI-72 with OctoInks. When I got the printer I had Cartridges that were mounted to the printer head. The printer wasn't used for 5y. So those cartigdes contain dried ink. I was wondering If I could clean them with Alcohol Isopropyl and distilled water before refill?

Or should I ignore them?

PRO-10 inks are difficult to clean.

IMO isopropanol doesn't dissolve dried ink.
I would try detergent for dishwashing (on the sink, not for the machine).
