Cartridge Flush

So is that water straight out of the tap that's used for the cartridge flush? If so, I wouldn't recommend it. You need to use demineralised water for flushing.

I've used tap water for three years with no problem. I do like to use hot water from a laundry utility sink, but the carts that billcf shows look as clean as new. Where is it being done - over a sewer grate?

In my greenhouse.

Need hot water for flush? Let the hose lay in the sun. (it was 105 here today) Cold water seems to work OK

If your water is very hard, flush, and then fill the cartridge with distilled water and suck it out with
vacuum cleaner a few times.
