Hi - please forgive my ignorance - but is cartridge flush mainly composed of Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water - or is it pure Isopropyl alcohol ?

Hi Roy,
Never use pure IPA(alcohol)because every flushing liquid has to be heated to around
60 c degrees.Pure alcohol is very flammable.
You can use Maximum 10% of ipa with diwater.
A better formula of cleaning fluid is:
6% ipa(alcohol)
3% pirrolydone
2%TEA(3 ETHANOL AMINE)
2%GLYCERINE
87% diwater

Take a bowl, put inside a few layers of tissue paper, put on it the solution describe above.
Put inside a cartridge printhead on the paper for overnight. It may clean your printhead

HI,
is this works with a Brother MFC 3100C ??

I just try a solution 70% windex with Ammonia and 30% IPA

I guess I have to put under the printhead the tissue paper overnight to melt the ink on printhead.....::) ??

Thanks
Giovanni
