Do those auto-reset chips work well? Any experience with the company?

I can't say anything about the chips but I wouldn't use any cartridge except Canon originals. Even third-party cartridges for the older ones that didn't have chips were problematic. I would look for a solution that works with Canon original cartridges.

I too can not say anything about the cart. and it seems the only one available for new Canon printer.And absolutely, your empty Oem is the best of all. As for the auto-reset chips, i once used it on older model and very disappointed. Some always read full didn't detected ink level. Anytime you pull it out from printer it read full again. Someone here report that if you turn the printer power on and off then it read full again. I rather refill oem , check ink level by my own eyes and waiting for chips resetter for this model.
