I use my Canon Pro-2100 very rarely. It can be three months between printouts. To prevent the print heads from clogging, I switch on the printer every three weeks and print a nozzle test. The print heads are fine, but my nozzle test prints use a lot of ink.
What strategy should I use to minimise ink consumption and keep the print heads in good condition?
I used to switch the printer off completely. Should I leave it in standby mode all the time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
