Your 300gsm card will be fine, keep an eye on it as it goes through as its quite heavyweight. The Cleaning & Deep Cleaning cylcle you mentioned only clean the nozzles of the print head. It's worth trying to find the "prevent paper abrasion" setting and see if this cures your problem as it lifts the printhead assembly slightly.

Dan, cheers for the help. I can't find the "prevent paper abrasion" setting anywhere though, perhaps it's not in the Mac driver?

Anyway, I HAVE sorted the issue! I changed the large black ink tank yesterday as it just ran out, and did another couple of cleans after that, and all seems well.

Fingers crossed it continues to be OK...
