Hi everyone,
First post.

So i have bought used printer, It looks printing fine in main body of picture.

But at start and end it give those small lines. Looks like it scratches with print head or something, and always has black ink on the side of a photo.
Maybe there is something to do to make it work smooth?

Hi Nokeris and welcome, the usual cause of the head rubbing on the paper is due to the paper media not been perfectly flat, but there are also a few other reasons.

You could try turning off paper detection in the driver and this will stop the printer from setting an automatic platen gap, you could also use the prevent paper abrasion, these setting can be found in the Custom Setting in Maintenance along with Quiet Mode and Auto Power.

You should try as many different Media setting as possible, and don’t be afraid to experiment with different Print Quality, you need to allow yourself as much control over as many setting as you can, otherwise the printer will set everything to its liking and this could drive you nuts...

Just Checked "Prevent paper abrasion" and it solved the issue. Does it decreases image quality? I cant see it..

What is the paper and its weight that you used?

Were the correct paper settings selected in the printer driver?

Was the paper curled?

What was the setting of print "intensity" you were using? (see #5 from the link below).

Nice Canon help page about the issue you were having: http://ugp01.c-ij.com/ij/webmanual/Manual/M/PRO-100S series/EN/UG/ug_trouble1800.html

Does it decreases image quality?
An incorrect gap between print head and paper may affect image quality if the driver/printer do not compensate for the gap, since ink droplets are sprayed at set locations on the paper and droplets too close or too far from the desired placement will degrade image quality. However, you may not be able to tell a difference with the naked eye whether there is compensation or not. Canon allows you to purposefully widen the gap and, hopefully, compensates for this. In the end. you may only notice that printing takes a bit longer.
