Canon Pixma IP3000 won't print red...only brown or orange.

If the nozzle test pattern shows all the nozzles are fireing properly, and the ink ejected is truely the correct colors, then it could either be a software / monitor / cable / hardware issue.

Believe it or not, I've having the same problem with my Canon BJC-8200, where my printouts don't show red at all. I refilled all cartridges, so it's definitely not the ink problem. I did all the maintainence I could think of. Still, nothing help. All red text are displayed in yellow. The nozzle check only showed brown and blue. I'm now suspecting it's Canon's problem. What do you think?
