YELLOW LED IS FLASHING EIGHT TIMES INDICATING WASTE INK ABSORBER IS FULL. PRESSED YELLOW BUTTON AND WAS ABLE TO PRINT ADDITIONAL SHEETS. NOW I CANNOT EVEN PRINT ANYTHING. THE EEPROM WILL NOT RESET. I GET A RED CANNOT PRINT INDICATION ON THE MONITOR. TYPICAL RESETTING PROCEDURES [PRESS POWER, PRESS RESUME/CANCEL ETC] DOES NOT WORK. NEED TO DISABLE EEPROM - NOTHING FOUND ONLINE IN DIFFERENT FORUMS DOESN'T WORK.

The printer is almost certainly not worth working on.

Switch off power at wall.
hold power button down on printer
switch on at wall
printer power light will light up
let go of power button on printer
light will go out
press printer power button and it will boot up as normal.

every time you switch it off at the wall you will need to repeat the stuff above.
if you just switch it on and off on the printer and leave it switched on at the wall you will not have to repeat process.
