I'm trying to find parts for a canon pixma 1p2600. the reason I feel my ink is back siphoning to the tanks is that the two pads that collect ink during the clean process when the heads are in park, isn't sealing the printhead and air is getting into the heads.

No I am afraid the pads are not to blame at all.

Even if you leave the print head parked in the middle of your printer all day
it wont cause any loss of ink in your cartridges when the system is working properly.

CISS systems are self contained units and are unaffected by a printer's condition.
Check over your CISS again for any little changes you may have inadvertently made that has cause the siphoning to start.

You either have an air leak or pressure in balance in your system,
you may need to prime it again to refill your cartridges + check for any air leaks at the same time..
