Hi, need some help.

Bought a used MP830 off ebay. Showed up with planten glass all busted up! So, thought I would take my top and its bottom. However, after getting it apart, I kind of forgot which flat ribbon cables get the weights/signal things.

Not the two white ones right? Or does one go on one of them or both?
Got the one on for the smaller black ribbon cable that goes to right/rear.
What about the two black ribbon wide and narrow ones? Do I put both through one?

Man, what a pain. Don't do this ever so those two little things I messed up on.

Also, I see a missing screw from the one I bought from back left rear and back right rear where wires go though the little gray arm.

So, if someone has access to a service manual that would be nice as well.

Thanks
Peace and Blessings

Sadly I don't have that specific manual in my little library but if you think the one for the MP950 and/or MP800 would be of any use, those I do have...

Just use the email link so I can provide a link back if so...

Well, it appears I did it right as it is working. I don't have a lot of interference in general on my phones, etc. I put the weights back onto the black ribbons and thinking that is correct.

However, this one has the same problem as mine. Not printing PGBK in test print. Only the CLi-'s. Purge head. How much work will this be to take apart?

Want to buy a new MG8120, but no chip re-setter yet...

Peace and Blessings
