I am considering the purchase of a Canon MP830 or MP500 inkjet.
1) A poster to another forum has claimed that the MP830 uses the color ink cartriges rather than the black ink cartrige to print/copy black text whenever the duplex feature is used.
2) I have seen several posts that claim that both the MP830 and the MP500 are highly prone to paper jams, especially when heavy weight paper, such as greating card stock, is used.
Can any of the experts, gerus or experienced users of these machines who monitor these fora either verify or refute these claims?
