Canon MP510 refill problem

Hello,
I have refilled my B&W en colour cartridges 2 days ago (the sponge should be saturated by now), but the empty indication on screen is still marked. What did I do wrong?

Nothing...

A cartridge will stay marked "empty" until you do one of the following:
1. Use a chip resetter like the "ReDsetter" to reset the chip
2. Get to the message about your cartridge being empty, are you sure you want to continue, hold "resume" for 5 seconds.. message and disable the ink monitor.

My money is on the resetter though so I'd do a search for "canon AND resetter" to get more info on here.
