Im a noob to photo printing...

I recently purchased a MP500, and havve made a few prints on canon's Glossy Plus paper.

the prints look great up close, until they are angled under light...then you see lines going across the picture (landscape, horizontally) that look like roller marks. I spent an hour with canons tech support trying to figure this out to no avail, thus I returned the printer for another and it does the same thing.

All the printer's settings are on the oem settings, except for paper. The print heads have been alined properly also

Thanks In advance!

Use the rear feeder instead of the bottom cassette. It should eliminate most of these marks.

The bottom feeder was really only intended for plain paper.
