Can anyone please tell me about the highest settings for the best printing quality (text documents) for this specific model? I am using A4 paper 80gsm and the printer is printing below average quality. But when I print from phone, the quality increases but it cannot maintain font size.

The highest quality you should use for text documents is 600 DPI, and even than that’s a waste, because text only needs to be printed at 300 DPI.

Why are you getting low quality prints, are you using OEM toner or compatible refills ?

Post up a portion of the page for viewing..

Using OEM toner. If I get it printed from elsewhere, there is a huge difference.

I cannot see anything amiss with your printout, it looks perfect to me,
Can you explain what you main complaint is, with this print out..

There might be a problem with the toner itself, have you tried removing the cartridge and giving the cartridge a good shake, and have you also considered the other possibility that you may be running out of toner !..

Comparing the two, there is not much to see both have perfect reproductions of the text, The HP text looks bolder than your text sheet but overall yours is more pleasing to the eye then the HP sheet..

Anyway to do a direct comparison you’ll need to use the same text sheet on both printers, the HP sheet may have been outputted with bold text and you have no way of knowing, so from what I can see your printer is working fine..

P.S. always try to use 300 DPI for your documents and this will save a lot of a toner..

Okay! thanks a lot for your help.
I think one of the reasons you might not be able to know the exact difference because the picture was originally of 3 MB and it got uploaded and got compressed 197KB but my printer also causes the letters to be less sharp.
Is there any way that I can bold the text just like HP?

Your talking apples and oranges here, the HP uses a different toner and their output always looks darker bolder and a little bit shiny, and the only way to get the same effect is to use the same model printer than printed the other sheet.

But you could try switching to 600 dpi for your prints and that should make your prints look a bit darker.. But use more toner.. You can always change the font.. Like the text in this post..
