Hello everyone
I am new to this forum and I would like to get advice from you.
Is it possible to restore the ink level monitor that was previously disabled.
I bought cheap Canon iX6550 printer with CISS system, but I would prefer to install the original cartridges.

I would appreciate for any help.

First get yourself a set of 525/526 cartridges and have them ready to install into your printer before you remove the CISS completely.

Then when you have carefully removed the CISS without spilling ink all over the place which is not easy,
youll be able to get your ink monitoring back very easy.

If you intend to refill your cartridges instead of getting new ones each time then make sure you use OEM cartridges,
you can buy them empty if you dont want to get new ones plus get a resetter also.

Now all you have to do is just install the complete set of cartridges into the printer
and it will take care of the ink monitoring itself for you, it will reset it back to normal monitoring as before ok.

See easy no problems.. :)
