Hey guys glad to be part of the forum here. I am having a problem with my Canon printer. The printer was printing real light and not solid. I set the print head out on a soft cloth for a few minutes that had cleaner on it (alcohol) as I have done this before. This was done after letting the printer clean itself. I don't use the printer as much as I would like to. Still did not seem to clean it. Now when I put it back in the cartridge assembly does not slide to the middle and the screen says "incorrect print head installed". Any help would be great on this. Can I reset the cartridge or am I going to have to get a new one? The cheapest I have seen is around $50.00.
Also can I take the cartridge out (after I get it fixed) and maybe store it in the fridge in a ziplock bag so as not to clog? Just a thought.
