Canon Imagerunner 2016i stripe problem

Hello,

My canon imagerunner 2016i is printing a stripe down the entire page. It only prints this stripe (about .25 inch) if I copy through the feeder. It does not print the stripe if I just lay the page on the glass to copy. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

The strip problem youre having can be caused by several things when using the document feeder
but you could check your margin setting they may be set incorrectly for that mode.

If you cant reset the margins yourself or its some other niggling problem then I would suggest giving Canon tech support a call
or mail them and they can sort it out for you very quickly..
