I have a 2 year old i9950 which hasnt been heavily used. It was working fine until one day I had to clear some space. I unplugged it and put it away for a few days. On reconnecting I found that I could not print anything. The only info I could get from it was that an "operator Error" had occured. The status monitor said "press resume" or failing that turn it off then on again to clear the fault. So far nothing.
The only signal I get from the printer itself is the flashing light. 1 green followed by 5 ambers.
Canon, of course, want me to send it to an engineer.
