Hello,
I have used my i960 for about 2 years without problems. Today, both the cyan and photocyan are acting strangley.
Print are fine except for the bottom and then they are missing those two colors. ( i know there is some banding in this image, but i believe it is the crappy paper i was using, other prints i make look fine except the bottom.)
here is an example

I have read the faq and other cleaning guides and don't believe this is a clog. When I place the print head on a damp paper towel, ink flows from each channel as expected.

The nozzle check print will not change no matter how much i have cleaned. I have replaced the two cartridges and verified that the pins and contacts are clean on the print head.

anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Chuck

Hi,

Your printhead is failing. You can try and clean it manually or buy a new one.

If you're 100% sure the footprint test is correct then I'd say you have an electrical fault in the head.

Just to make sure thoug, do lots of footprint tests(pressing the head down on paper towel to see if the ink stops after a while.
