Canon i860 color adjustments

I've been using Injet Grabber inks and they're fine except too much blue in gray shades. I've tried adjusting color in the driver software, but no matter what I do, I can't see that it's making a difference. The adjustment picture in the software shows major changes but none seem to show in the actual printing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but no success with color adjusting. Even cyan set at its furthest minus setting and magenta and yellow at their plus settings doesn't change. Could something be wrong in the printer itself?

Which program do you use to print your documents?

I use Picture Window, or Easy Picture, or the Microsoft Print Wizard. I've tried color adjustments in them but I'm not satisfied with the results.
