I work at an ink store in a college town, and two scientists from the university just came in and asked me if these could be refilled, and I told them I'd do some research on it and call them back. The cartridges go in the following integrator:

That front part with the circuitry comes off very easily, and there is a sponge right underneath. Here are my main questions:
-What sort of ink could I use? I assume it would be HP ink, but is it a special kind or something I more than likely already have in the store?
-Do any of you know if it's possible in the first place? This could be a cartridge where the circuitry dies after one use.
