Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I have read about how to refill canon printer. I just bought canon pixma mx715 and I am planning to buy chip resetter for refilling the ink. Previously, I have hp deskjet 3050 and I have bought a lot of refill inks for hp (4x black, 1x cyan, 1x magenta, 1x yellow). It just a generic brand ink bottles but the bottle says it is for hp cartridge. Can I use the inks from my hp to refill the canon cartridge? I wanted to use OEM cartridge 525 and 526 for refilling using chip resetter. I dont mind about the quality of the printouts as long as I can use them without damaging my cartridge/printer (as I will prints a lot of documents and not pictures).
*canon pixma mx715 uses pgi-525 and cli-526.
*hp deskjet 3050 uses hp no 61.
I have read somewhere that I can if it uses universal inks. But I also read that it is better to use refill inks for each brand of the printer. Any help anyone?
Thanks a lot.
