It looks like my Canon MG6120 is just about done so I'm looking for another. But I'm also a Linux user so I'm looking for suggestions about what's:
  1. Refill-friendly
  2. Linux-friendly: in the old days this was HP but there have been a lot of days since then
Do I ask for too much?
My needs haven't changed, so I'll be looking for an inkjet that's in the same class as the Canon. But there are a few things about it that I wouldn't like to repeat:
  • Bad wi-fi support. It never worked properly so everything was through USB
  • Very low quality scanning. I dunno, maybe because the afternoon sun often shone on it (but I left the lid down), but the colours and contrast have been awful for several years now!
  • Linux-friendly: it was fairly well supported in Linux, but it could be better
So what do you think?
