Brother LC 41 Compatible Leak

I am a refill retail store. I have sold some brother LC41 Black cartridges over the past few weeks. I had a customer come in to the store today because the cartridge leaked all over the printer. Why would this happen? What can be done to prevent this? Any info would be appreciated.

I refill these as well, and they can be tricky. They have to be filled without a needle, and at an angle, so as not to mess with the rubber inner seal, which must not be pierced.

Remember also to suck most of the remaining air out after refilling with ink. If you do a lot of these, you might want to get a used, cheap printer on eBay and test the cartridge before giving it to the customer.
