Hi,

I have purchased a second hand HP DesignJet 130nr for printing large drawings and images.

Is there a good quality compatible ink alternative, or even better CISS system?

I am in the UK.

Thanks in advance,

Dot

OK Dot,

Try this site for the inks that you require and please try to stay from using any universal ink ever. :(

Thanks The HAT,

I may have used the wrong term, I just meant compatible.

I have used octo before for my canon Pro9000. On the whole, decent inks, but I do suffer from blocked heads from time to time.

How do you know that these inks are compatible with my printer model? Are they Image Specialist inks?

What would be the best way to use these inks? CIS system any good?

Which should i go for between lyson, OCp and IS?

Thanks a million,

Dot

Compatible inks are just fine to use, but universal ink is a big no no.

The best way to prevent a blocked print head is to do a nozzle check at least once a fortnight or even sooner.

These ink are made for the HP printers but if you require more information on them just contact:
support@octoinkjet.co.uk or Phone: 0 1226 827 277 and they will be only too glad to help.

I am not a HP users so have limited experience with their use; maybe someone else can answer that better than I.

The choice is really down to you, but its between OCP and I.S. because Lyson is well over priced..

Aside from universal ink, Epson ink is also a no no. I am an evidence if anyone is in doubt!
