Maybe they got a new supply and updated the website? But the QY6-0080 print head is on sale at a reduced price so maybe it is being phased out?

We don't know if @russell is looking for the QY6-0080; it hasn't been specified.

I mentioned it, but only because that's the one I needed a while ago.

It looks like the QY6-0080 printhead is still available from several European suppliers. For instance CRC Tasktron, but they don't ship outside UK. C1 supplies from Germany also has them but it looks like they don't ship outside Europe, and here is a Danish Supplier that claims to have 50+ in stock. The price DKK 572.85 approximately equals USD 88. And in France there are 100+ in stock.

In the US the best supplier of Canon spare parts is often Canon USA. See the paragraph about service parts. So @russell have you tried contacting them?

Gives those of us here in the US a couple of possible new options for service parts.
I notice that eParts.fr does ship worldwide.
@The Hat : Tasktron does not indicate lack of stock,
even when adding the item to cart.

It's a shame some suppliers only ship within their own countries/regions.

I neglected to mention that I'm interested in a Canon QY6-0083-000 printhead for an ip8720. I found and ordered one from inkjetprinthead store on ebay. About $98.00. Free shipping by the way. He has about 3-4 more left of that model. None left of QY6-0080-000.
